What a day to rejoice! He has delivered us!
“When the
LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was
our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they
among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done
great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O
LORD, as the streams in the south. They
that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He
that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again
with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him” (Psalm 126:1 KJV).
What a day
to rejoice! He has blessed us!
“I will
greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath
clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of
righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a
bride adorneth herself with her jewels” (Isaiah 61: 10 KJV).
What a day to rejoice! He is our
strength and salvation!
“Yet I will
rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my
strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and
he will make me to walk upon mine high places” (Habakkuk 3:18-19 KJV).
And again I
say, “What a day to rejoice!”
Dear Father,
thank you for the joy you give. Empower us to rejoice always in all
circumstances. This I pray in the name of Jesus. AMEN
Be strong
and courageous in your rejoicing today,
