Guidance

It may seem like an ancient relic today, but not too many years ago people in all strata of life turned to the Bible for personal counsel and comfort. This ingenious book of wisdom is the foundation upon which many people build their lives, families and businesses.

British Prime Minister, William Gladstone (1809-1898) wrote, "I have known 95 of the World's greatest men in my time, & of these, 87 were followers of the Bible."

The First American President, George Washington (1732-1799) wrote, "It is impossible to rightly govern the World without God & the Bible."

An unknown author wrote, "The Bible is a treasure house, Where we can always find the things we need from day-to-day for heart and soul and mind."

Skeptics and pagans may consider the Bible as an obsolete relic that cannot provide the help we need. Yet, for truth-seekers this ancient resource of wisdom will always be needed and never become obsolete.

No matter what technological changes and social progress occurs, this blessed book will remain as the solid foundation and source for the right answers to the complicated questions of our origin, our purpose, our behavior, and our ultimate destination.

So, dust it off and read the Bible today. It may be old, but its truth is always new and fresh. It will never be obsolete.

Dear Father, thank you for revealing your story through the Bible. Enable us to turn to its wisdom everyday. I pray this in the name of Jesus. AMEN

Let the Bible guide your life today,
