Note the
key of time being used. After the destruction of Babylon, at the end of the
Great Tribulation, just before the millennium kingdom is established, John
hears a multitude of voices shouting praise and glory to our God for his
justice. What a glorious outburst of praise!
This
outburst occurs because God has exercised judgment and vengeance upon the
immoral woman that corrupted the earth and killed his servants. And again the
voices shout out the praises to God and the elders fall down before him in
worship. And God enters into the worship with encouragement to all those who
serve and fear him, “Praise our God.”
Note that
God encourages all who reverence him, whether famous and powerful or weak and
unknown, to praise him. It might be important to note that in order to be in
that number then, we must begin to praise him here and now. Let it just burst
forth! He alone is holy! He alone is worthy!
Dear
Father, thank you for allowing us to praise and worship you. May we never fail
to praise you and glorify your name. I pray this in the name of Jesus. AMEN
Be strong
and courageous today giving glory to his name,
