The peace that
transcends all our knowledge and understanding . . . how does it occur? When does it arrive? How do I know that it is
here?
When we think about
God and meditate on our blessings from him, there is peace. When we trust him to the exclusion of everything
else, there is peace.
When we've laid all
our issues at His feet, there is peace. When we've placed all our circumstances
in His Hands, there is peace. When we've entrusted our whole life to His
safe-keeping, there is peace.
When we've released
all our dreams and hopes into His care, there is peace. When we trust Him no
matter what, there is peace. It is so difficult to adequately explain. Yet, his
peace -- perfect peace -- is our everlasting strength and it rules in our hearts.
Dear Father, thank
you for the peace that you give. Enrich our lives with the everlasting strength
of your perfect peace. This I pray in the name of Jesus. AMEN
Be strong and
courageous today in his perfect peace,
